Leave Requests & Supply Procurement
How to formally submit leave applications and classroom supply orders to school administration through the portal.
Note for Educators
This portal module is fully integrated with your dashboard profile. Contact administration if permissions are restricted.
Tips
- Submit planned leave requests at least 3 school days in advance to allow time for class coverage arrangements.
- Attach supporting documents (medical certificates, event letters) to strengthen your leave request.
Submitting a Leave Request
Go to 'Requests' in your sidebar and click 'New Leave Request'. Fill in: • Leave type: Sick Leave, Casual Leave, Earned Leave, Emergency Leave • Start and end dates (use the date picker) • Reason: A clear written explanation • Supporting documents (optional): Medical certificates, etc. Click Submit. Your request enters the administrator's review queue. You'll receive an email and in-portal notification when the request is Approved or Rejected.
Leave Approval Timeline
Leave requests are typically reviewed within 1 school day for emergency leaves and 2–3 school days for planned leaves. Once approved, your attendance records are automatically updated to reflect the approved leave period. Rejected requests include an admin comment explaining the reason.
Supply & Resource Orders
To order classroom supplies (chalk, markers, lab equipment, textbooks, stationery): 1. Click 'New Supply Order' in the Requests panel. 2. List each item with quantity and justification. 3. Submit for admin review. Approved orders are processed by the school stores team within 3–5 school days. You'll receive a confirmation when items are ready for pickup.
Tracking Request Status
All submitted requests appear in the Requests panel with their current status: • Pending — Awaiting admin review • Approved — Request accepted and being processed • Rejected — Request denied (admin comment attached) • Fulfilled — Supply order has been delivered Click any request to view the full details and admin response.
Frequently Asked Questions
My leave was rejected. Can I appeal?
Yes — visit the school administration office directly or submit a new request with additional documentation. Portal-submitted re-requests are reviewed in the same queue.
What is the maximum leave I can take per term?
Leave limits are governed by your school's staff leave policy, not the portal software. Contact your HR department for the exact allowance.
